Young grapplers tally 39 at BiState meet

Colfax Junior High wrestling year wrapped up with six team members placing in the big Bi-State tournament March 5 at Moscow Junior High. The Bullpups finished in the middle of the pack with 39 points, coming in behind the team win posted by Clearwater Valley of Kooskia which topped 100 points.

Placing for the locals were Skylar Hollingshead, second; Austin Couch, Nolan Burrill and Braden Rogers, third; Caden Noha and Jonathan Logan, fourth. Kameron Greenhalgh, who qualified for a high seed in the heavyweight class, was unable to make the trip because of illness.

Hollingshead, Logan and Greenhalgh are St. John wrestlers on the team.
