Outreach board begins 2016 with thanks for 2015

Lacrosse

LaCrosse Community Outreach Center board member Cheyenne Palmer said the center would like to start 2016 by acknowledging all the support it received in 2015. Its mission is to raise the quality of life for all of the community by meeting basic food needs for any neighbors facing hardship. It is able to provide service to the community through revenue from the Outreach Thrift Shop, direct donations and for 2015 a grant from the Inland Northwest Community Foundation.

LCOC appreciates all of the community partners who make it all possible, the customers who visit the Thrift Store, donors who directly support the Food Bank financially, participants in the Giving Tree and holiday baskets, volunteers who selflessly give of their time, INCF and the anonymous donor whose gifts made the Thrift Store giveaway promotion possible.

For those who would like to help plan for this upcoming year, membership is $5 and meetings are the first Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m. in the Gathering Place. The public is always welcomed to attend.
