St. John School levies on Feb. 9 ballot

The St. John School District is one of several districts across the county with levy proposals on the ballot for Feb. 9, which has now been mailed out to voters.

The district has two levies up for voter consideration, the first being St. John School District No. 322 proposition 1, which is a technology and safety levy which would be funded for two years at an estimated rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed value if approved.

Superintendent Suzanne Schmick said this levy proposal includes upgrades in technology for things such as computers in the labs and classrooms as well as the needed infrastruc...
