Rosalia honors veterans at Memorial Park

The annual Rosalia Veterans Day ceremony commenced Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park in Rosalia. Rosalia Chamber of Commerce president, Patricia Voge, presided and welcomed all veterans. Father Mike Savelesky led the gathering in a prayer for peace for our nation and safety for our troops.

Ken and Veva Jean Hames received a certificate of appreciation from the Chamber for their work on the park.

Mayor Nan Konishi thanked those in attendance with a reminder of the history of Veterans Day, and Rosalia Boy Scouts presented the United States flag disposal ceremony and unfurl...
