Colton – Uniontown crowns 2015 DYW winners

Terah Bennett, Daylinn Smith, Kendyl Druffel, and Emma Schultheis, from the left, competed for the Distinguished Young Woman of Colton-Uniontown award Saturday. At the end of the “Winter Wonderland” themed program, Kendyl Druffel was awarded the medal and a $600 scholarship to the college or university of her choice. This summer, she will have the honor of competing at the state level. First alternate, Emma Schultheis, received a $300 scholarship and Terah Bennett was presented the “Spirit Award,” with a $100 scholarship.
