Scout project restores cemetery

The Mount Olive Cemetery near Kamiak Butte was the scene of an Eagle scout project headed by Mitch Barney of Colfax Saturday. Scouts from Troop 550 came, and boys and girls from the LDS church came. Adults came to help from Colfax, Palouse, St. John and Oakesdale. Boyd Jefferies and Jim Askins, who both have relatives in the cemetery, assisted. Everything was cut back, mowed, trimmed and weeds removed.
