Eleven Colfax High jazz seniors depart

Eleven seniors wrapped up their Colfax High School jazz band careers with the traditional farewell ceremony at the end of last Thursday night's annual jazz concert in the CHS auditorium. Members of this year's senior class played in title-winning bands in three of the four years the group competed at the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival. The latest first place finish was last weekend. Departing seniors include, from the left, Sam Dailey, Kasey Johnson, Cody Gronning, Katherine Woodhouse, Brent Becker, Carolyn Knaack, Brian Stueckle, Bo Claassen, Holly Rimbey, Ysabeaux Ng and Kim Hinnenkamp.
