Colton students win science honors at state olympiad

Eighteen Colton High School and Junior High students traveled to Highline College in Des Moines to compete in the 2015 State Science Olympiad Tournament. The team consisted of fifteen students with three alternates. They placed 14th in a field of 22 teams.

Emily Schultheis and Jordyn Moehrle received first place in the “Simple Machines” event.
