Blood center honors Miller

Sheri Miller, Whitman County Library’s youth services coordinator, was honored by Inland Northwest Blood Center as their Chairperson of the Year for Community Drives.

Jeff Bryant, Inland Northwest Blood Center President and CEO, presented Miller with the award during a recognition banquet held Monday, April 20, at the Red Lion Hotel in Lewiston.

Miller has served as the blood drive chair for Whitman County Library for nine years.

The library has hosted 48 blood drives and collected more than 752 units of life-saving blood during that time.
