Washtucna class to roll to Portland

Washtucna seniors will travel to Portland April 3-5 for their senior trip. Seniors have participated in multiple fund-raisers throughout the year in preparation for this trip.

They hosted feeds at every home game or worked at "the shack." They also had various other fund-raisers including a Little Caesar’s Pizza sale and school hat days on Fridays.

In all, seniors have raised more than $3,500 toward the cost of the senior trip.

The trip will take them to Tigard, Ore. There they will check in to the hotel and spend the night. Saturday morning they will visit the Rice NW Museum of Rocks and Minerals. The next day they will go to the Portland Zoo. Saturday will be concluded by attending a Portland Trail Blazers game that night. On Sunday they will enjoy a continental breakfast and leave the hotel by 11 a.m.
