Sarah Appel, daughter of Eric and Shannon Appel, was named Colfax’s Distinguished Young Woman Saturday at the Colfax High School Auditorium. Grandparents Dick and Helen Appel were in the audience to cheer her on, as well as Caroline and Elly Kunkel, Pullman; Lisa and Miriam Frei, Colfax, and Neil, Liz and Noemi Appel, Dusty.

Meggie Perron spent three days of her spring break from Walla Walla Community College with her grandmother Fran Jones and Uncle Bryan.

Angela Broeckel and Graham spent from Wednesday to Saturday of his spring break in Boise and Mountain Home, Idaho. They visited daughter/sister Sami BeDell and Curtis Baker in Boise and parents/grandparents Guenter and Brigitte Scherwinski and sister/aunt’s family, Anita and Bryan Straw, in Mountain Home.

Tom and Doreen Riedner have moved into their new home on Musgrave Road.

Karen Broeckel joined a family group celebrating Pam Nolan Beasley’s birthday at Sol Vallarta in Colfax Saturday evening. Also present, besides the guest of honor, were Ken Beasley, Jeanette Nolan, Greg, Gwen and Jason Nolan, Andrew Nolan and Emily Ovens and her children Lauren, Grady and Holden.
