Pirates top ‘hawks, Vikes to finish SE title run

Pomeroy wrapped up their title run in the SE volleyball league with two, three-game wins in the final rounds. The Pirates defeated Oakesdale Thursday in the Nighthawks’ gym after being pushed in the first game.

In the last round Tuesday at Pomeroy, they booked three solid games over the Wildcats to finish out the league run with a 12-1 record. Savannah Ruark hit nine kills for the Pirates.

Zoe Moser led Colton in the last round with 11 kills and 10 digs.
