Engagements and Weddings

Toni Hennigar, daughter of Tom and Georgia Hennigar of St. John, and Brandon Jorgensen, son of Larry Perringer and Suzanne Pfaff-Hennigar of Oakesdale, will be married Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Palouse Empire Fairground. The bride-elect graduated from St. John/Endicott High School and attended the University of Idaho where she studied elementary education. She is now employed at Umpqua Bank in Colfax. Jorgensen graduated from Oakesdale High School and studied criminal justice at Spokane Community College. He is now employed at Jones Truck and Implement in Colfax.

Travis Widman, son of John and Jerri Widman of Rosalia, and Jacqueline Kocur, daughter of Paul Kocur and Lori Mosley, both of Auburn, NY, were married Aug. 2 at the Mukagawa Fort Wright Institute in Spokane. The Rev. Gene Del Veccio from Coeur d'Alene officiated.

The bride was given by her father, Alec Widman, while the groom's nephew, served as ring bearer.

The bride and groom met in 2011 at San Antonio where he was undergoing pilot training with the U.S. Air Force at Laughlin Air Force Base and she was studying for a bachelor's degree in political science at the University of Texas in San Antonio.

Widman graduated from Rosalia High School in 2004 and from Washington State University in 2009 where he completed the ROTC program.

After finishing pilot training he was stationed at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Neb.

The bride graduated from Auburn High School in New York in 2007 and from New York State University, College of Buffalo, in 2011. She is now employed as a national financial account manager at TSYS Merchant Solutions in Omaha where they are now making their home.
