Blessing of animals set at Rosalia

In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, who had a joyous connection to God’s creatures, Rosalia United Methodist Church will sponsor a blessing of the animals Sunday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. in the Rosalia City Park for a brief service, followed by cider and doughnuts. All residents are invited!

The blessing will celebrate them and the caregiving that is expressed daily. Dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, goldfish, horses, reptiles and other creatures are welcome!
