Cross-country teams make season debut

St. John Endicott cross country team opened their season at the big Hayden Canyon meet north of Coeur d’Alene Saturday. The Eagles have six boys and two girls on the team.

Three Oakesdale runners are competing with the Eagles.

At the Hayden course, which follows trails through the trees, the SJE team placed last among ten teams in the small school division. The meet officials divide the large entry into small school and large school classes.

Medical Lake topped the small school division with 33 points. Riverside was second with 46.
