Colfax netters top Mt. Spokane in opener

Colfax volleyball players will head to Gonzaga Prep today for the second half of this year’s Colfax vs. the Greater Spokane League bookings.

The first chapter went down Saturday when the Bulldogs traveled to Mt. Spokane and won in four games.

Coach Sue Doering said the Colfax serving was a big factor in topping the Wildcats who compete in the AAA Division.

Line score was 25-15 21-25, 25-21 and 25-15 in the closer.

After locking 1-1 for the first two games, the two squads waged a key battle in the third game and Colfax prevailed in the lategoing.
