Pride auction tops $4,000

LaCrosse Community Pride conducted a silent auction in the Gathering Place during Farmers’ Festival. All proceeds will be used to pay the monthly expenses for the library, kitchen and Gathering Place. These expenses include utilities, property taxes and insurance.

A wide variety of donated items totaled 104. Some of the items were 30 tons of rock, Tigercat apparel, leaf blower, candle basket, scrap booking basket, children’s Lego sets, battery operated International tractor and wagon, bottle fed baby goat, 4-month-old lamb, variety of knives and a scope. Approximately $4,100 was raised.

The recipient of the June Yard of the month is Lynn and Sharon Bruce.
