Local track teams place at Border Wars

Two Whitman combo teams mixed it up with 13 other area squads Saturday in the Border wars at Lapwai. Asotin again dominated with strong wins on both sides.

St. John/ Endicott/ LaX/ Washtucna boys placed sixth with 48 and Tekoa/Oakesdale /Garfield/ Palouse placed ninth with 28. On the girls’ side the TO/GP scored 75 for fourth and SJELW scored 52 for fifth.
