Art and Colene Sager of Dusty took this photo of Palouse Falls while returning from a Washington Flying Farmers meeting at Basin City. They noted the water rushing over Palouse Falls was enjoyed by many visitors, possibly as a result of the official declaration of the site as Washington state's official falls. The legislation was initiated by Washtucna grade school students. The falls are located about 15 miles south of Washtucna on the Palouse River and about eight miles upstream from the Snake River.
