Endicott – 7 p.m. – Book Club – Join the discussion of Chris Cleave’s, “Little Bee.” Everyone’s invited. Rosalia – 7 p.m. – Picture Books with Katie Wilkes – Learn how to introduce difficult topics and encourage reluctant readers.

Malden – 2:30 p.m. – E-Reader Class – Learn how to download and checkout audiobooks and e-books onto your electronic device using the library’s website.

Saturday, March 22

Oakesdale – 10:30 a.m. – House Plants & Herb Gardens - Horticulturist Donna Guske Hanson shares her vast knowledge for indoor plants and herb gardens. Learn how to care for them and learn a few pointers as well. Garfield – 2:30 p.m. – House Plants – Horticulturist Donna Guske Hanson shares all the options for indoor plants. You are welcome to bring a “troubled” house plant!

ColfaxPalouse Plein Air Exhibit – Features watercolor paintings from the Palouse Plein Air 2013 winners. This exhibit is open during regular library hours and runs through the end of March.

Monday, March 24

Colfax – 2:15 to 5:30 p.m. – Community Blood Drive – Appointments are being taken by contacting the library at (509) 397-4366 or the Inland Northwest Blood Center at http://www.inbcsaves.org Donors should drink plenty of fluids and eat a meal at least two hours prior to arrival.

Palouse – 3:45 to 5 p.m. – After School Homework and Game Time – The Center for Civic Engagement (WSU) students will be available to assist 4th graders and up with their homework. Afterwards, there will be time for board and/or video games.
