Spartan netters honor 4 seniors

The end-of-the season Rosalia volleyball banquet was Wednesday, Nov. 13. The Rosalia Spartan team finished fifth in District 9 for the season. Seniors Mackenzie Reddish, Shannon Carrothers and Stacey Carrothers were honored for their four years on the team.

Coaches Trish Hereford and Alisa Moehrle-Druffel also awarded the players with certificates and varsity letters and pins.

Special recognition went to Mackenzie Reddish for earning honorable mention on the All-District 9 team. Three honors voted on by the team were also presented. Mackenzie was awarded the Most Inspirational Player award, Madeline Gregory was presented the Most Improved Player award and Rayna Charles earned the Best Teammate award.

Rosalia Ladies annual Christmas party will be Dec. 2 in the fellowship hall at Holy Rosary Catholic Church beginning at 7 p.m. Door prizes, music and desserts are planned along with revelation of secret sisters.

All women in Rosalia and surrounding communities are encouraged to attend the event which is sponsored by Rosalia Community Churches.
