Rosalia will honor vets

Rosalia Veterans will conduct a Veterans Day ceremony Nov. 11 at the Veterans Memorial Park in Rosalia which is located behind the Texaco Service Station. Rosalia Boy Scouts will present the flag and lead the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. Pastor Mike Cooper will be the master of ceremonies and give the invocation.

Mayor Jim Stenhouse will give the welcome and a short talk on his tour of duty in Vietnam.

Rosalia Boy Scouts will do their flag ceremony and burning of the old flags. Guest speaker Maj. John Goldsworthy will speak on his duty in Iraq.

Washington DAR Chaplain Julie Pittmann will present the Veterans wreath.

The VFW Post Rifle Team will fire three volleys, and Lucas Engel will play Taps.

Emily Hahner will sing songs of the military branches accompanined by Greg Hahner.
