Rail cars visit at Rosalia

Members of the Pacific Rail Car Association made an unscheduled stop and visited with Rosalia residents two weeks ago. The speeder cars rolled past the Rosalia park just as the Rev. Stewart Nereim began a message during a community worship service in the park. He attempted to hold the attention of the audience as the cars rolled past one at a time. Just as they sang the last song of the service, the speeders returned and stopped to have a noontime lunch in the park. Paul Goyke and Bruce Henning fired up the grills with hot dogs and hamburgers. The car operators reported their run to Marshall was blocked by an engine which was stalled in the tracks. Photo by Mike Day.
