Exchange students seek local host families

Exchange students from Europe, South America and Asia are looking for host family homes in Whitman County.

Cindy Ethington, an International Student Exchange representative, said the students are from 15 to 18 years of age, speak English enough to communicate well and will arrive about a week before school starts.

Five exchange students have been placed in homes throughout the county, Ethington said.
