Colfax High FCCLA duo

Two Colfax High FCCLA members, Kim Hinnenkamp and Lizzy May, attended the national FCCLA meeting July 7-11 in Nashville, Tenn. Kim is the daughter of John and Kristie Hinnenkamp, and Lizzy is the daughter of Richard and Melissa May. They attended with local chapter adviser Cathy White.

Lizzy, a national STAR event competitor, earned a gold medal in “Digital Stories for Change.” The video called “ Save a Life and Save It for Later” is a message about the dangers of texting and driving.
