Colfax’s Kneale resigns as H.S. athletic director

Colfax High School Athletic Director Shawna Kneale has submitted her resignation.

The school district’s board received the letter Monday night at its meeting.

“That’s too bad about Shawna,” said president Robert Smith, expressing the board’s disappointment to see her go.

Kneale has served the last two years as athletic director, while also acting as assistant volleyball coach for the high school and junior high programs.

“In short, I like the job, I enjoy it, but for me, it’s part-time pay for a full-time job,” Kneale said.
