Weitman benefit

set for Saturday

A benefit for John (Glen) Weitman, who has worked at Taco Time for 20 years, will be Saturday, April 6, at the Colfax Eagles banquet room. The benefit includes a spaghetti feed from 5 to 7 p.m. at $5 per person.

A silent auction will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Weitman’s daughter, Amy, said more than 70 donations for the silent auction have been made to date, and they are still accepting more.

Weitman and his wife, Lin, have four children, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Weitman was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer last November.
