Direct seed breakfast set

The next Direct Seed Breakfast meeting will be at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Colfax Methodist Church, N. 109 Mill Street.

A report on the Cropping Systems Research Project at Ralston to reduce erosion and increase yields using a stripper header on a combine will be presented by Dennis Roe. There will be a presentation by a local grower about his direct seed system. A hosted breakfast by Mark Peterson of Dow Chemical will be served by the Top Notch Café of Colfax. Anyone is welcome.
