GP students perform for holiday

Garfield-Palouse music students directed by Rebecca Hemphill and Ruth Vertrees have performed a series of concerts during the holiday season. Elementary pupils at Garfield and Palouse gave back-to-back performances.

Garfield/Palouse High school at the University of Idaho Kibbie Dome

The performances featured special guest percussionist Matt Zook. Other soloists were Evan Potter, Justice Keller, Samantha Snekvik and Ava Hemphill. Singers from the Garfield-Palouse middle school and high school joined singers from the Potlatch school district for a solo performance at the University of Idaho holiday concert at the Kibbie Dome featuring soloist Emmy Gregg of Palouse. The students of Garfield-Palouse school concluded their holiday performances in Garfield featuring high school and middle school students performing “Sleigh Ride” directed by Vertrees.
