Appel lands scholarship

Christopher Appel, a senior at Colfax High School, was recently awarded a $10,000 Nordstrom Scholarship. Nordstrom’s awards 15 scholarships in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. The son of Eric and Shannon Appel, he plans to study for a bachelor’s degree in either bio-engineering or bio-chemistry and then study for a degree in medicine. The Nordstrom award is divided over four years.
