Nighthawks keep 1B trophy

Tekoa/Oakesdale Nighthawks, the defending 1B champions, stacked up a 12-game run past four foes to defend their state title in the 1B net bracket Friday and Saturday at the SunDome. The title game turned out to be an all-county rematch with the ‘hawks facing off against Colton.

“They’re just a solid group of players,” Coach Brandy Brown commented. She noted the Nighthawks came close to doing everything right in their efficient defense of the title they won last year.
