Vets assembly set at Garfield

The annual Veterans Day Assembly in the Garfield-Palouse Middle School Gym in Garfield will be at 9:30 a.m. next Friday, Nov. 9. The event will honor local veterans, as well as to remind all students and their families of the service and sacrifices the veterans have made on behalf of our country.

The assembly will feature the Garfield-Palouse singers, choral members of the Spokane Symphony and a local color guard.

Capt. Jared Wolfe will be a guest speaker, and David Buri, director of Government Relations at Eastern Washington University, will be the keynote speaker.
