Mills duo will be honored on 50th anniversary

Dan and Monna Mills, now of Clarkston, will be honored for their golden wedding anniversary Saturday Nov. 10, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the St. John Christian Church . Hosting the reception will be their son, Dale Mills of St. John, and their son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Michelle Mills of Spokane. Dan Mills and Monna Morrison were married Nov. 24, 1962, at St. John Christian Church, and they made their first home at St. John. Both retired in 2005 and they later moved to Clarkston from Oakesdale. Dan retired from the Whitman County Public Works department, and Monna retired from the Oakesdale School District.
