State ag teachers honor Supt. Morgan

Colfax School District Supt. Michael Morgan has been named the 2012 outstanding administrator by Washington Association of Agricultural Educators. Supt. Morgan, a former vo-ag teacher at Deer Park, was presented a plaque earlier this month by Colfax FFA teacher Brian Long, who nominated him for the award.

“From the beginning of my time at Colfax, Michael has never wavered in his commitment to make this the best program it can be,” said Long, .now in his 10th year at Colfax.

Long noted Supt Morgan filled in for teaching aspects of ag. mechanics and small engines.
