WCHS meet set at LaCrosse store; food basket drive

The public is invited to attend the Whitman County Historical Society’s annual meeting Sunday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. at the recently renovated LaCrosse Market. Historical photographs will be on display as well as information regarding the history of the store and tours through the building. Refreshments will be served, and Alex McGregor will give a talk.

LaCrosse Food Bank is making plans to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets. Wayne Miller said the food bank expects they will distribute 45 to 50 baskets to needy families this year.
