Reunion at Warm Springs Ranch brings many back to Penawawa

Shirley Eggers hosted her annual Penawawa Reunion at her Warm Springs Ranch along the Snake River Saturday, August 11.

Attending were Willie and Anne Pierce Lowe, Endicott; Monte and Sharon Steiger, Genesee; Rob and Bobby McVoy and Betty Morgan Culbertson, Walla Walla; Don and Sara Johnston, Cheney; Madge Eggers Griner, Mead; Jim and Marg Johnston Merrill, Lewiston; Anthe Hoffman (Helen Delegans’ daughter), Florida; Dean and Sandee Griner, Willene Delegans Allison, Mary Lou K. Delegans, David and Leslie Griner Cowin and Emily and Heather, Barbara Schmedding (Willene Allison’s daughter), Karl and Donna Van Tine and friend Don Baker of Billings, Mont., all of Spokane; Andrew and Donna Delegans of Marysville and her father Harold Prescott of Tacoma; Duane and Tarri Steiger and Geraldine Steiger Scholz and Warren and Connie Repp Horton, Dusty; Joanne Morgan Fleming, LaCrosse; Mike and Patsy Eggers Kromm, Quincy; Janet and Terry Eggers, Sandpoint; and Jerry Smith of Milwaukee and his grandson Jordon Smith of Stanwood, Ore.

Some of the guests helped set up for the reunion.

All had a great time visiting and reminiscing with all their former neighbors, friends and relatives.

Hannah Manning, Valleyford, spent last Wednesday through Monday with her grandparents, Art and Colene Sager. Her cousin, Jullene Sager, joined them Thursday and Friday. Friday they all went swimming at the Colfax pool.

Visitors at the home of Kim and Cindy Pitts from Thursday through Sunday were their daughter Carrie Pitts from Yakima and Saturday and Sunday, daughter Amanda Carlson and grandsons Tate and Rafe from Spokane.

Rafe and Tate got to ride truck with Grandpa Kim.
