Ng wins gold medal at FCCLA nationals

Ysabeaux Ng, daughter of Eddy and Molly Ng of Colfax, received a gold medal at the national meeting of FCCLA at Orlando, Fla., for her entry in the applied technology category. She produced a video to use as a fund raiser for the local Dreamworks office. She scored 95 out of 100 points in the competition. Also attending the national meeting from Colfax FCCLA were Justin Williams, Washington state director of programs; Sara Teal, state vice president for Region 9; Kylee Gibson, Jasmine Lander, and Advisor Cathy White. The national meeting included 7,000 attendees from 50 states, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Ysabeaux was among 3,200 competitors from 28 states.
