Erin Flaherty, Jacob Nelson exchange vows at Red Barn

Erin Flaherty of Moscow, Idaho, daughter of Steve and Melissa Flaherty of Colbert, and Jacob Nelson of Pullman, son of Craig and Sheryl Nelson of Pullman, were joined in marriage June 9 at Red Barn Farms in Colton. The Rev. Matt McNelly of Pullman Presbyterian Church officiated.

Maid of honor was Shannon Flaherty, sister of the bride, Colbert. Bridesmaids were Hannah Nelson, sister of the groom, Pullman; Sara Clark, friend of the bride, Pullman; Stephanie Hoyle, friend of the bride, Pullman; Bekki Hampton, friend of the bride, Othello, and Dani Mierz, friend of the bride, Enumclaw.

Best man was Heath Brewer, friend of the groom, Pullman. Groomsmen were James Keifer, friend of the groom, Pullman; Josh DeMacon, friend of the groom, Pullman; Sean Wesselman, friend of the groom, Dusty; Tory Uskoski, friend of the groom, Pullman, and Andy Beitz, friend of the groom, Pullman.

A reception followed at Red Barn Farms. The highlight was a roasted pig which had been raised by the groom.

The flowers were Cala Lilies, white roses, and sprigs of wheat arranged by Pullman FFA. Centerpieces were paper flowers handcrafted by the bride.

The couple departed on a John Deere tractor.

Erin is a 2008 graduate of Mead High School and 2012 graduate of University of Idaho. Currently she is a toddler teacher at Pullman Head Start.

Jacob is a 2008 graduate of Pullman High School and 2010 graduate of Walla Walla Community College. He is currently a John Deere Technician at Arrow Machinery in Colfax. They are making their home near Colfax.
