ALLEGE CREDIT CARD THEFTS

Pullman police reported Thursday that they arrested the business manager of American Travel Inn, Gurinder Kaur, 24, on probable charges of theft involving credit card information obtained from customers. The report by Chief Gary Jenkins said warrant searches were conducted at the suspect’s place of business, 515 S. Grand Ave., and at her residence.

Detectives allegedly recovered items which were illegally purchased by use of the credit card information. Also, Chief Jenkins reported Kaur established a fictitious company, Cougar Zip, and used it as a separate means of obtaining funds from the accounts of victims.

The report said more than $2,000 in goods were purchased with information obtained off several customer credit cards.

In addition to the theft charges, Kaur was arrested on probable charges of identity theft. All alleged victims recently stayed at the American Travel lnn.
