Colfax Library will celebrate fathers and children with a special pajama Storytime under the tree in Hayden’s Corner Wednesday, June 20, at 7 p.m. in the children’s area on the main floor of the Colfax Library.

Kirk Schmick will share his musical talent and sing-a-long songs.

Kids can wear PJ’s, bring a stuffed animal or favorite blanket and get ready for dreamland. Moms and grandparents are invited too.

Colfax Mayor Vanek will share his vision for Colfax at the upcoming Chamber luncheon beginning Tuesday, June 19, at noon in the Norma McGregor meeting room of the Colfax Library. Diana Frey from the Whitman County Gazette will also share tips for reaching Whitman County residents through advertising.

Colfax Chamber luncheons are open to the public. Top Notch will serve lunch for $9 with an RSVP required by June 15 to the Chamber office or the Library.

Colfax Library kicks off Summer Reading today, June 14, with juggler and comedian Curtis Carlyle at 10:30 a.m. in the library’s Norma McGregor’s Community Room.

Whitman County residents of all ages are encouraged to participate in our Summer Reading program, “Dream Big, Read!” Summer reading signups can be accessed from the library’s website or by stopping in at any branch of the library.
