Fourteen members attended the Chapter AF meeting at Peace Lutheran Church May 29 with Lynn Nelson hostess.

The program was presented by Curtis Scholz who showed a video from three days of hiking the Grand Canyon.

A Scholarship Award of $500 was presented to Megan Groom at the Senior Awards night. Ann Marra made the presentation on behalf of the local chapter.

The June 18 meeting will be at Events on Main, at 6 p.m. The state convention report will be given by Liane Smith, delegate. Reservations need to be made with Marcia Binder.

Next scheduled meeting will be Sept. 24 with Linda Marler hostess.

Rosalia Garden Club

Next meeting will be Wednesday, June 13, with a 1 p.m. dessert and program at the Rosalia United Methodist Church. This is a change of location from the yearbook listing.

The program will be “Wildflowers of the Pacific Northwest” by Kathy Hilliard. She will discuss locating, identifying and growing them in our area. The meeting is open to guests, but they need to call the hostess chairman Mary Ann Bowman at least a day before the event.

Roseanna Hester will be begin her term as president July 1.
