Bulldog’s diamond season ends after gem from Reardan ace

Reardan, a team which started in the number-six slot for the first round of the District 7 baseball playoffs, came to Colfax Tuesday, turned out two solid wins and left with an entry into the next playoff round.

Their second win was a 4-1 verdict over the Colfax Bulldogs. That ended the Colfax season after the hosts had earned the number-three slot in league competition.

“They played a great game,” Colfax Coach Mike Parrish noted. “They just made every play.”
