Rosalia royal float work underway

Volunteers are now working on the Rosalia float which will be in the Lilac Parade in Spokane May 19. Rosalia royalty and the float committee plan a community barbecue Friday May 18 to preview the float which will represent the Rosalia-Thornton-Malden area. It will begin at 7 p.m next to the former building supply builiding.

Anyone interested in helping build the float can contact Angela Hackney.

Rosalia royalty includes Queen Maddy St. John and Princesses Brittany Terrell, Haley Lindgren and Heather Wilson.

Marilyn Cellucci, a six-year resident of Rosalia, is the new manager of Pittmann’s Town & Country in Rosalia. She replaces Linda McGuires who managed the store for the past nine years.
