The Whitman County Planning Office issued a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) for the following project:

Gary and Lucinda Held are applying for a conditional use permit to operate a wedding and event venue business on their four-acre parcel. A 1,200 square-foot, two-story barn will be for wedding parties. The property is located near Johnson at 1851 Chambers Road, Colton, WA, in Section 4, Township 13, Range 45 E.
