Santa will arrive by teapot

Santa Claus will be in LaCrosse Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Teapot Cafe. Free juice and muffins will be offered for all children while supplies last.

A Christmas drawing will provide gifts for boys and girls in age brackets infants to 2 years, 3-5 year-olds, 6-8 year olds and 9-12 year-olds.

Free photo taken with Santa will be available.

LaCrosse Business Association sponsors this event each year.

The annual LaCrosse School winter concert will be presented by students in pre-school through eighth grade Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. in the “pit” of the high school.

Musical numbers will range from “Amazing Grace” to “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.” Several arrangements are accompanied by hand bells played by the seventh and eighth grade chorus.

Robyn Taylor is going to play “Sonata in C” by Mozart and “Apache Brave.” Lauren Stubbs will play “Silent Night” on the piano. She will accompany Matea Enzweiler as she sings “Silent Night.”

LaCrosse National Honor Society will sponsor a feed at the first home basketball game Saturday. The menu will include pizza, brownies and salad. The society will donate all proceeds to Tara and AJ Miller. AJ is in Seattle Childrens Hospital for an extended period of time.
