Old St. Nick set to visit Garfield

The Starlight parade and Santa’s arrival is set for Dec. 4 with lots of fun and goodies to be had. A Christmas musical and dessert will be put on by the three churches in Garfield Dec. 17 and 18.

Garfield Christian Fellowship’s Ladies Aid bazaar was a success. The doll, chest and clothes that were up for raffle were won by Conny Crow of Oakesdale.

Garfield branch of Whitman County Library will sponsor a craft-making event at Ladow Court. Kathy Merry will teach how to make snowmen with clay pots on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 1: 30 p.m. The general public is invited to attend. Pre-registration is not required but encouraged.
