'Cinderella' casts finish run

Colfax High School’s production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella wrapped up a run of six performances Wednesday for students and others before school dismissed for Thanksgiving Holiday. Directed by Cary Cammack, the show featured alternate casts with Kelsey Nails and Brent Conrad and Lindsay Webber and Brandon Soncarty as Cinderella and Prince Charming. Cast members totaled 40 students with 20 on each show night. In the top photo, members of the Monday cast wrap up the show with the wedding scene after the prince has found Cinderella with the finale number “Do I Love You?.”

At left, Katie Largent, Rachel Napier and Kirbee Barney, Cinderella’s step sisters and mother, give a haughty listen as Cinderella, Kelsey, Nails gives her account of what it would have been like to attend the ball at the palace in the song “When You’re Driving/Lovely Night.” The play closed with a “Happily Ever After” screen falling over the stage curtain.
