LaCrosse project gains IRS rating on donations

LaCrosse Community Pride continues to take strides towards the complete renovation of the historic building that will house a grocery store, community center and library. The organization received its official 501 C 3 IRS rating as a non-profit organization, officially making any donations tax deductible on tax returns.

Major donations continue to be provided to this community project. Store front glass, electrical, plumbing and various amounts of labor have all been donated by business entities. Fund raising will be accelerated now that the IRS has provided the official tax exemption letter....
