Wins pageant trophy

Sarah Bailey, 13, Palouse, attended the National American Miss Washington pageant Sept. 3-4 at the Hilton Seattle Airport and Conference Center. She participated in the Junior Teenage division with 91 teenage girls, ages 13 to 16. She was awarded a trophy for first runner-up in the best resume competition.
