Nursing students receive auxiliary scholarships

Scholarships of $1,000 each were presented by Whitman Community Hospital

Auxiliary this year. to three local students who are undertaking medical studies.

Jessica Davis left, works at Whitman Hospital and is studying for her RN License at Walla Walla Community College.

Shaina Simonson, a graduate of Colfax High School this year, will attend Northwest Nazarene University to study nursing.

Kaylea Newton, a graduate of St. John/Endicott High School this year, will attend Eastern Washington University to study nursing.
